Sabres went 3-1 in that tough stretch. Montreal went 1-3 These scenarios won’t matter in March when we’re chasing points. This is the worst team in the NHL we lost to. But whatever. Tage is made of glass. This is a problem. He fought real hard to come back last year with the hand injury….but he has to play or we’re absolutely awful. That’s why he rushed back last year. They know it. Edited November 11 by Second Line Center 1 Quote

Sabres went 3-1 in that brutal 4 games in 5 1/2 day stretch. I will take it. They still do just too much dumb and lazy sh!t for me to buy in just yet. Today would have gone a long way and they wet themselves. 2 Quote
Pimlach Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 (edited) I have a lot of comments on this game. Instead I’m going outside to enjoy the sunshine and nice weather. Incredible loss. Edited November 11 by Pimlach 1 2 Quote

It is what happens when two tired teams play each other. Rarely does a team have to play 4 games in 5 1/2 days. Both of them had a brutal schedule. Quote
North Buffalo Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 need to be tougher against a team like that... now bag skate em 2 Quote
Believer Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 We couldn’t maintain the energy of those two quick goals to start the 3rd. Fell back to lackadaisical play and just outworked by the Habs. They wanted it more than we did. Disappointing. 1 1 Quote

Can't lose a game like this - it always ends up costing you end of season. Totally undisciplined and sloppy performance. Just really inexcusable. 1 Quote

So it’s ok if they played like ***** against a shi++y team. These are the games that they probably will want back when they miss the playoffs again. We will see eventually 🤷♂️ Quote

Marty Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 When two “tired teams” play one another, the better team should still win, so… 2 1 Quote

Just stop already. 2 Quote

It was a sloppy game by both teams. Since last Tuesday night they both were asked to play 4 games where travel was involved. It is asking a lot. No excuse of losing, because Montreal had same situation, but that is why the game was so sloppy with all the penalties. 1 minute ago, Marty said: When two “tired teams” play one another, the better team should still win, so… Not necessarily. When you lose your top player it doesn't help. 1 Quote

They are two bad teams though. 1 Quote
CallawaySabres Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 The Bills can have a bad day and still win. The Sabres are closer to the bottom of the league than the top half. They should never expect to win, and until they play consistently like they did against Ottawa, they will never, ever get into the top 8 in April. Quote

SabreFinn Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 Young team issues, if the other team is playing a sloppy game, we for some reason does it even worse. Unfortunately it is games like this that is the difference between a playoff team and they who aren't. Hope a coach with routine can fix it quickly. Still, I think it would have been a comfortable win without the injuries on Samuelsson and Tage. Hope it is not something that keep them out of the linup next game. 1 Quote

Should they have gutted out a win, sure, but I had them going 3-1 in the 4 game stretch, with a loss at NYR. They still got the 6 points, just not how I thought they would.
