And if it wasn't clear what a hopeless Sabres optimist I am...I just started UPL today in fantasy over Jake Oettinger (although to be fair, Dallas is in Winnipeg, which has won 13 of 14 to start the season).

If we have learned anything about UPL it’s that he likes a lot of work and he needs to play to keep his game up.

No lineup changes is the Lindy Ruff coach I expected until someone else earns it or someone else doesn't play up to the standard, which is as it should be.

I generally like Mule. But I hope Lindy keeps Mule in the press box until it’s painful for him to be there. Then keep him there a couple more games. If Mule doesn’t come out of it being what the Sabres need him to be then moving him shouldn’t be out of the question.

If Lindy can get Samuelsson to get to play the right way, it'll almost be a game changing effect for the team. Lindy knows this.
