On the hit, I thought it was a penalty, I didn't think it was vicious though. Penalty yes. Something that required an immediate respons?  ehhh....I've seen worse.

I think it was because they all got trapped standing over Malenstyn and didn't want him getting possibly further injured. But, I think a couple Sabres are ready for it.

I think players are being to smarten up about getting aggressive while standing over someone who appears to be injured. Would like to see an answer once he’s out the box either way.

Is that the case? I’ve never reffed or heard that. I thought you make the calls in front of you and if you missed the back ref should catch it.
