inkman Posted November 5 Report Posted November 5 No matter is you say Cool-eek, kool-itch, or whatever, he’s heading down the thruway to Rochacha. See you on FloSports my friend. Quote
Porous Five Hole Posted November 5 Report Posted November 5 It was the most logical outcome once Benny is ready, and I also like it. He was fine in Buffalo and he knows he’s the first call up if he responds the right way and produces here in ROC. The ahl game will feel slow now that he has nhl experience. 1 1 Quote

In some ways wish he could stay on the 2nd line. Except seeing how quinn struggles. Quote
msw2112 Posted November 5 Report Posted November 5 (edited) Looks like he would have been sitting with Benson coming back, so better that he get ice time in Rochester, than sitting in Buffalo. He'll be back. I wish they could do the same for Levi, but with Reimer being claimed, there's nobody else to serve as UPL's backup. Edited November 6 by msw2112 2 1 Quote
Pimlach Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 He did ok. He still has to get bigger and stronger but he played solid. Go back down, he will be back. Quote

pastajoe Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 Wish they gave him a chance at 2nd line center and moved Cozens to wing. Quote

Flashsabre Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 Helenius is the player who will be a 2nd line centre in a few years. Kulich is a winger as is Cozens. 3 Quote

He has improved his production year over year in the AHL. It’s early in the year, but there are only two players younger than him who are having more productive years in the A. Quote

Flashsabre Posted November 9 Report Posted November 9 (edited) Some people didn’t like the Rosen pick so no matter what he does the narrative will be he sucks to those people. Both Kulich and Helenius have scored again tonight. Terrible Awful Rosen has two assists.😀 Edit: Brutal Rosen added a goal for a 3 point night. What a joke😝 Edited November 9 by Flashsabre 1 Quote

What a joke😝 Haven't watched the Amerks but keep tabs on them still. I see Rosen is having a good season thus far. Has he looked as good as his numbers indicate? Is he someone that we think will be a good NHLer and is his size still an issue? Edited November 9 by Bangarang Quote

Disclaimer I haven’t seen a game yet this season, but I’ve seen a ton of Amerks hockey the last three years. Rosen has nhl speed and good hands. His edges are great and his shot is good enough. He has put on weight, but his frame may hold him back. I think if you want some offensive flash in a bottom six role, he can do it. He’s had good coaching since he arrived to North American & he’s performed well in the AHL playoffs as a smaller guy. Fully developed, he’s probably not a top six forward…but I think he will get some time in the show. He’s still very young. He definitely has more offensive upside than say a guy like Rousek, but it’s tough to say he will be a reliable nhl’er for a decade. Quote
