That was one of the dumbest icings I have ever seen...carry the puck all the way up to 2 feet BEFORE the redline, then tip it into the zone for an icing?  If you waited 0.2 of a second more.

You don't make a guy that is only signed through 2025/26 your captain. His production dropped off a ton last year and is continuing this year. Not sure he will even be in Buffalo in 2026/27.
