Thompson was invisible tonight.

Back-to-back losses to a bad Islanders team and a mediocre Red Wings team. These are the kinds of losses you're going to look back on when you're yet again on the outside looking in at the playoffs and shake your head. Same old Sabres.

Did not get my hopes up and they did not let me down.  Quinn had an open net and could not complete the deal.  This team is still the same as last year.

A couple border line all stars.  Maybe 3.

Absolutely no one remotely on a Hall of Fame track.

Zero toughness - not that it matters in 2024 everyone is built the same looking for the same type of player.  We just suck at finding the elite versions of them if they aren’t top 10 picks put in our lap.

Why everyone is better then us, simplified.

Your Buffalo Sabres explained.

tear it down.  I know it's early in the season, but, if it's not obvious after 3+ seasons of basically the same core, I don't know what is obvious.  and this should not be done by Kevin Adams

0 for 2 on the PP. ZERO goals 5-5.  Our "Big scorers" are just not producing.

Our "big scorers" are way over rated...not first liners. None of them.

Didn’t seem any line late in the game looked like they’d played together more than 10 minutes. Strangers. Maybe Ruff was mixing up lines looking for a spark. Didn’t work.

Don’t forget they gave up two on the PK.

Consider this for a minute.  If our PP and our PK are each performing at levels ranking in the bottom of the league, do you think we have enough good players?

And if Pegula is still in all the meetings, giving his input, sitting next to whoever the GM is at practices and during games, changing Adams out for someone else will mean virtually nothing.
