Two brilliant penalties tonight are killing us. Too bad because UPL has been playing well.

I’d be playing Reimer….oh wait, he’s not on the team anymore (GMKA brilliance)

Badly outplayed in the period.

Lucky we escaped down just 1.

It would not matter as long as the team keeps taking stupid penalties. Both of those penalties were pointless.

I love watching to see who plays with *noticeable* effort in the third period in games like these-- down 1, team collectively playing somewhere south of awesome. Those guys are the definite keepers, IMHO.

Props to Tuch on that goalmouth scramble. This one feels like a loss to me. I don’t see much that might leave me to believe they have it in them to win.  Surprise me.

He’s not the solution either though…..just meh tonight

To me it looks like when he is not surrounded by Red Wings, he is playing great position. I see the Wings have a lot of shots going wide, the net covered, which doesn’t count at a shot attempt either.

If the Sabres allow opponents to have that much puck possession in the high danger areas, then the goalie will not have good numbers, goals will happen.
