At this point it's hard to find the energy to even post about this team.

I don't know how anyone overseeing the management of this team and look at it and feel like it's going to be successful.

What new and exciting ways to lose is this team going to find tonight?

New? Nah, they don't have any new ways to lose after 13 years. We've seen it all.

I think I am going to paint today. Watching it dry has to be more satisfying than watching the Sabres play, right?

I just cannot put heart into them anymore. I watch until game slips then shut off and walk away.  First year I did not get autograph helmet for hockey fights cancer night.  Just so tired of watching losing hockey

It is November 2. Not April 2. We win tonight and we could be tied for a wild card spot.  I will concede that this team has a problem showing up when opportunity arises. You win on your home ice last night and you have won 4 of 5 and are .500 and tied for the wild card spot, even if it is only November.

Clean up the unforced give aways, maintain puck control, play hard, hustle hockey. I'm hoping they do these things today.

You want this team to resemble a good one? Good luck

All he is asking is what you would ask of a serious AA Bantam hockey team of 13 and 14 year olds.

Puck control, limit giveaways, play hard every shift.  Be tenacious and outwork your opponent, make them earn everything.

And I’m watching this game, why?  Sunk-Cost fallacy? K.

Because your roots go back to this.  Like me, you are stuck with these clowns.

Not sure if I'm making this one tonight folks. Last night made me madder than I'm willing to admit. I'll check the score every once in a while. Have fun!

I’ll continue to watch - every solid win makes you think maybe they’re getting it, and every loss like last night gives you hope they realize it just might be team construction.  So far KA’s focus on the 4th line doesn’t seem to have the impact maybe he thought it would.  Not a big surprise since it wasn’t what held us back last year.

But that's not what happened is it?  Instead they crapped the bed against a team facing an injury to one of their best players just before the game and then to two of the defense during the game.

They continue to look much like the same team they have been. They continue to make the same mistakes. They continue to look like a team who cannot handle the pressure of needing to win and fold under pressure.

You can have all the hopium you want but in the end, when you analyze this team, they are still the same as they ever were. They are not figuring it out and they need to make a significant shake up to the lineup and bring in 1-2 veteran leaders who will drive change. I think Zucker is doing what he can, but they need more.

I felt they were going to lose yesterday because of the positivity of the posts in the GDT. This is the opposite today, so maybe they win? 🤷‍♀️

Yes, I'll do the opposite!

I’m looking forward to the game. The has my attention through 11/11 at least.

I am too. These guys haven’t played for a coach like Ruff before and Detroit is very beatable.  Ruff hates losing 2 in a row and will demand a Win or he’s sitting someone.  I expect they come out fast tonight

Thanks Punch.   You always did know how to motivate your players.  Let’s hope Lindy hasn’t forgotten how to either.  I’m on the bandwagon for some healthy scratches (plural) after last night performance.

They could be in a playoff spot in 8 hours from now.  I am not too concerned.

Has there ever been a Buffalo team with less identity?

not fast, not tough, not ONE star, crappy goaltending, and have not played an important game in 13 years.

I'll wake up and check the score. Probably chuckle then head across the green zone UN border to North Cyprus and Check out the ghost town in Varosha. Good luck to those that will endure.
