Sabres spending 93% of salary cap is certainly enough to put together a team that can qualify for the playoffs.  But dude, Pegula put forth $170 million to harbor center. Give the guy some credit.  Pegula kept the franchise in Buffalo.

That asset is worth 1.3 billion now, so no I'm not gonna give him credit for buying the team 13 years ago... you know when we actually made the playoffs.
