Stoner Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 Duffer cackles while winning some ticky tack argument with Marty about an Islander's age. Just. Atrocious. 3 1 2 Quote
HumanSlinky39 Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 (edited) This team is just painful to root for. Anytime you start to think there's some progress, they quickly revert to garbage. Edited November 2 by HumanSlinky39 1 1 Quote

We need to blow this team up and start over. Ask Darcy Regier how that works out. Better and quicker way is move this crap show and start new franchise ...look at Vegas, Seattle and Utah. All far better off...and right from their first season thanks to NHL expansion procedure. Quote

I asked earlier what about Buffalo General, where Rick went when he had throat cancer. Do you not find this infomercial for Roswell to be unseemly? Recognize all cancer providers in the community. Uh, Utah's not an expansion team. Quote

No I don't have a problem with Roswell getting acclaim, but sure they could recognize all of the providers. That is a good idea. If there ever was a good cause for awareness, and funding for more research, this it it. That is how I feel, and I have a family connection to the great work done by great people at Roswell. 2 Quote

That time of year for movies about a career woman who finds love on Christmas with a guy rocking terrible looking stubble. You could try mixing it up by watching the Lifetime channel with movies about a career woman who finds love on Christmas with a guy rocking terrible looking stubble, who turns out to be a serial killer. 2 Quote

SwampD Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 That was some of the worst hockey we have seen this team play in a long time, and that is saying something. Zero energy. Zero chemistry. Just a complete dud. They couldn’t complete passes. They couldn’t get pucks through anyone. It was awful. 1 1 Quote
freester Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 Cozens reminds me of Girgensons. He lacks hands and his shot is mediocre. 2 Quote
Pimlach Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 I watched the highlights. Blah. Defense stood around a lot. It must have been bad because the SabreSpacers switched from railing on the players to the broadcast crew. I whole heartedly agree that they are amateurish. Since I watch from ESPN+, I often prefer to watch the opponents broadcast, at least for part of the game and then the post game since the Sabres don't provide that. Quote

sabresouth Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 Sabres have lost three out of four games coming of a three or more day break to start this year. They just don't seem to have the intensity right out of the gate. I like Levi and I know he's young and I think he will be a geat goalie someday but he let in 4 goals. I know he didn't get much help on a couple but you're goalie needs to bail the team out at the right times to keep you in the game. I know I'm beating a dead horse but thank you ka for addressing the goalie situation four years ago. We could have been in the playoffs a at least a couple of years with a really good goalie. Hopefully UPL and Levi get closer to that level sometime this year. Quote

If Tuch plays with half the heart and enthusiasm Krebs does, he might be worth his minutes. Has all the size and skills. Just depends on the game, the score, and the shift if he gives an honest effort. Know he’s active in the Buffalo community and that’s valuable, but it’s not helping the team on the ice. Guessing it's near impossible to move the guy, but he would be at the top of my list. Tuch is exactly the wrong kind of veteran leader the Sabres need right now. Peterka, Quinn, Krebs, Kulich need a leader by example on the ice every night. Zucker and McCoud show up most every game. Package Tuch with a prospect or draft choice and give me a couple more of this type of player in his mid 20’s who can score a 15+ goals. Better yet, get a bona fide Goaltender to compete with UPL and send Levi down to Rochester. jmo 1 1 Quote
