PerreaultForever Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 So the real Panthers this time. We can see if the Sabres can compete with that or not. The Florida weak spot is their D so I firmly believe the best way to beat them is at their own game and that's a heavy and relentless forecheck. Not sure we can do that, but I'd like to see it. More than a win (which of course would be great) I want to see us compete and not back down from this team. Show us that the Sabres are a real hockey team this year and not to be taken lightly. I hope that happens. Quote

Stoner Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 (edited) Feels like a big one even before Halloween. A win gives the Sabres two against the champs already and some decent cred. 5-4-1 for 11 points is not good enough, but close enough to a playoff pace as to be intriguing. A loss puts us under water and at just a 74 ish point pace at the 10 game Scotty Bowman Memorial Benchmark. Yes I've massaged the importance of this game to an engorged, throbbing level, far beyond any one game's possible meaning. Alas, I said it feels like a big one. Edited October 28 by Stoner 2 Quote

CallawaySabres Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 7th place in the conference, I'm back....for now 🤪 Hopefully Washington comes back to earth drops from the top 8. Boston looking to move into the top 8. Tampa, Buffalo and Toronto hold the 3 spots in our division at spots 6, 7 and 8. I believe Buffalo to be better than all the teams below us (we'll see about Boston.) A win tonight, although not likely, would really boost a fanbase that is just waiting for the bottom to drop out. Even with a loss, just winning 3 out of 5 games the rest of the way may just get it done. Keep us interested Sabes, just KEEP US INTERESTED! 1 Quote
#freejame Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 I really excited about this game. Every game needs to be treated like the playoffs. I hope the boys come out flying. Quote

Alas, I said it feels like a big one. You can't massage something until it's engorged in a public forum. You do that one time on a Metro Bus and everyone gets all "Look at that 41 year old weirdo in the trench coat at the back of the bus" Quote
#freejame Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 I missed Saturday but any reason why Kulich should be the one scratched over Quinn or Laff? Quote

#freejame Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 Not a good start from Cozens or Quinn, but a good shift from NAK Quote
Stoner Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 Any reason there's a roster of officials taped behind Lindy? Quote
