rickshaw Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 The linesman are breaking up a scrum and we get a high sticking call to go 2 down? This is not even remotely funny. Ottawa is whacking our goalie after the whistle. Whacking our guys after the whistle. We are getting called for ticky tack fouls. Ottawa is not. I'm sorry, but that's three very dicey 5 on 3's now for Ottawa. Our PP wreaks but still. The ONLY way Ottawa gains momentum is from cheap calls. We're far better than they are 5 on 5. Just call it evenly. Please. Anyone notice that the dinsosaur refs are the one's that let the Sens get away with everything????
Spandrel Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 What is going on just now? Let's see..... Pyatt should have been for ripping Volchenko down Neil correctly gets called Numminen delivers a clean hip-check and is cross-checked because Schaeffer didn't like it and NO CALL ....BUT BUFFALO CONVERTS THE POWER PLAY!!!
MillerTyme Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 I really cant watch this sh*t anymore ... how many penalties can be called on one team ... how many 5 on 3s are going to be called ... I want to watch a hockey game not a referee penalty calling marathon ... ReDUNKulous
rickshaw Posted May 14, 2006 Author Report Posted May 14, 2006 Apparently a hit to the face is ok now, but the hook on someone without the puck is not. That sounds right. Maybe they should just tell Roy that he will never ever draw a penalty on anyone, no matter what. The ONLY time Ottawa gets into the game is when we take penalties. That's it. Otherwise we are owning them.
Eric in Akron Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 It's just about time to waste some NHL paper by faxing the crap out of their offices for the sh*t officiating that is occurring. This is about as one sided officialed game as I have ever witnessed to. Go Sabres!
Strow Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 Let me just say I have been drinking before I start this. Ok I have seen many of people talking about the refs this series and I haven't wanted to really side with either team or just bash the refs here either way. HOWEVER, after reviewing what has been let go within this series I have become increasingly distrubed by how the refs are letting the "old NHL" come back into the game. I have seen several time that it just hasn't been called consistantly within each period and it seems to me that its the interfernce calls and the clucthing and grabing. Wow Im hammered. I still think they are calling the tripping calls so MAYBE Betman will reissue his mantra of call it the same way. This will really allow the sabres to apply the offensive pressure they need and not turtle like they did in the Sens series (which may or may not have been planned by ruff). Ill end this drunken rate now. LET'S GO BUFFALO and Let's go CANES
