Sabres take on the 5-1-0 Dallas Stars at home tonight. UPL most likely in net for Buffalo.

Buffalo has the 4th worse odds of winning at just over 40% and all 32 teams play tonight.

Look for the line of Quinn - Cozens - Kulich tonight as Ruff indicated this morning that he thinks they work well together.

Practice lines from yesterday

I don't care for how Ruff is treating Benson. Contrary to popular belief here, he is still driving play wherever he goes and yet gets bounced around the lineup.

This might just be because his style fits up and down the lineup, whereas cozens and Quinn not so much.  A victim of his own versatility.

The Sabres have lost five of the last six against the Stars.  Including the debacle at home in ‘23 when they lost 10-4.  I’ll be in the barn for tonight’s game. Let’s hope for a fast start. Dallas is playing Boston on Thursday, so Jake is probably sitting tonight.  Take advantage of the situation.

ps - Shout out to the politicians who control the meteorological conditions.  75 and sunny at the end of October?
Marvelous Weather!!!

Is that 10-4 game the one where Granato refused to pull Comrie?

Won't the smell be kinda awful to be watching a game there?  Plus you have all that mooing and oinking from the cows and pigs.  Why not just watch it in the house?

His actual goal % is worst on the team despite his expected goals being one of the best. The team may be valuing actual production vs expected production.

Does this mean Kulich and Krebs have passed Benson on the depth chart since the season started?

What has Quinn done to stay ahead of Benson?  Or Lafferty for that matter?

Its time for Benson to get on the scoreboard and change things in the coaches eye.

I thought Benson was nursing an injury.

8 game homestand.  6 points will be successful in my opinion.  Getting 2 tonight would make that task a lot easier.

Getting to 5-5-1 should be the goal for this 4 game homestand.

Since when is 6 out of 16 points successful?

Thanks for the clarity on this one.  Makes sense and provides opportunity for others to elevate their games (that means you Quinn).  Competition for ice is important.
