Brawndo Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 Lance Lysowski mentioned in his mailbag that Appert is the PP Coach but Prospal and Peca coached it in Rochester. 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 (edited) Cozens led all forwards in ice time in period 1, and had the most shifts. Jokiharju tops among D-men in both ice time and number of shifts. Edited October 20 by mjd1001 Quote

So we got back right in time at 6:55pm. Um...I forgot it was an 8pm game, not a 7pm game. Rushed home early for no reason (no jokes about the way the sabres are playing, rushing home at ALL to see them is for no reason) I had the opposite. I thought I’d catch one period, but gonna see 2 periods and just saw 4 minutes of the first - and did the “quality time”. Which is critically important. I feel a win coming. Gonna tap into the Woodford Reserve. Quote

They are 0-for-21, can that be true? That would mean combined the 'organization' (apologies to Jacksonville) is 0-for-39 on the powerplay. It seems almost impossible. Quote

Pimlach Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 Ok, I see Tage scored. Great. We need that. Beck Malenstyn. Nice. Win the next period. Quote
mjd1001 Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 Nice contrast between the Sabres and Blackhawks uniforms. Makes the game easy to watch. Krebs right now IS playing, overall, better than Cozens. Complete game. 1 Quote

Carmel Corn Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 Cozens getting tattooed by Bertuzzi there....he's playing like he doesn't give a crap. Quote
mjd1001 Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 (edited) UPL needs to make that save. Levi had 3 that were on him against Columbus...1st one I think goes on UPL. Edited October 20 by mjd1001 2 Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 Gees, hope this isn't the same movie again Quote
DarthEbriate Posted October 20 Author Report Posted October 20 To the powerplay. Here we go again... You know, it'd be nice to at least be a net 0 in scoring on the powerplay this season. Quote
mjd1001 Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 (edited) and now a PP opportunity just minutes after allowing a goal? When it rains.... I mean, at some point if this PP drought goes on long enough, can it become a momentum killer? I think if the team is having a good period 5-on-5, and they get a PP and fail miserably at it again, does it have any kind of negative impact on their psyche/confidence?
