I don't want to hear the "they wanted it more" excuse ever again.  They should be playing for their careers today. They really need a win today before this turns into a early season death spiral.

The Sabres are actually pretty heavily favored in this game. Interesting.

You can be Mr. Positive if you want. We do have a tradition here of leaving gambling out of it.

No problem. Won't mention it again. I am not a gambler, other than fantasy. ESPN just posts game 8pm time on the Sabres ESPN page and then of course right below it the odds. lol  New world.

We're already mid death spiral.

I’d rather see Gilbert in there than Mule.

Lindy said RR made the arena a safer work space.  Don’t our kids deserve the same?  One if my biggest gripes with Adams - there  is absolutely no deterrent to cheap shots.

It's already past noon over there in the Eastern zone. We're slacking off.

Something, something, this is where the fun begins.

Taking a page out of the Sabres playbook? The court will allow it.

and that's why there are no real consequences for bad play in Buffalo. You get the one game sit and then you're back and the other guy gets his one game sit and so it continues. Nothing changes because there are few options for changes.

Chicago is interesting. Obviously It's a rebuild around Bedard but they've gone out of their way to try to establish a winning culture and work ethic around that rebuild. How lasting the Foligno and Maroon type effects will last for that team remains to be seen but Bedard is being mentored the right way.

Can't comment on how to beat them as I haven't seen them play this year but I assume you shut down Bedard and then they probably don't have much offense after that.

Ok team, 1-4-1 in the 6 game opening of the season. I think we can do away with the panic play, the poor puck movement choices, the missing the net on 7 out of every 10 shots.......those days are over, it's done! Focus, stay calm, level headed, use your brains with the puck, and go play disciplined hockey.

Get the 2 points!!!!!!

Just read this is the 1000th game of the “streak”

I never thought of it in terms of total games. That is really depressing

Probably won't watch since the game is in Chicago and I could not even convince a few 'Hawks fan buddies of mine to go, my treat, to see the shizznit show ... ESPN+ seems to be able to detect my VPN and so far this team has not been worth the effort to try to see if I can fudge around it. Oh well. Go Sabres?

Either they fix the special teams and the underlying metrics that say they aren't trash turn out to be right or... we talk about who we are trading at the deadline and who we are picking in the top 5.
