In reading the GDT from yesterday, it’s days like today that make me miss our Russian Chat GBT friend.

It's not even here to say that Rodgers is still a really good quarterback.

We are getting closer to a house cleaning when this team collapses and doesnt make the playoffs again... not that we will end up in better shape... but like Jim Carrey said... so your telling me there is a chance....  then again, Terry could hire a basket ball coach cause geez... they have nets in that sport too to add to his Soccer Coach collection... stay tuned.

The housecleaning will only be a rearranging of the furniture in the room. Adams as a president role, new GM (which is good, but would it be anyone but Karmanos?), Ruff as a coach or retired/consultant role, Appert behind the bench. Maybe the assistant coaches get shuffled about? Now, that hypothetical would be one more step of separation from the owner to the coach, which could be beneficial for the team construction.

Was it really AI/bot? What if it was a test to see if the technology has gotten so good no one could tell? I thought it was humanoid.

The AI voiceovers have gotten so good I can tell only if there's some glitch like pronouncing 1979 as one thousand nine hundred and seventy nine. They'll fix that.

Strange times.

Totally fake.  The responses had no emotion.  The robot had one basic output message for all inputs.

When Woody finds PA in the ditch.

Was wondering who would post that 1st.  Knew this kid wasn't the only one who thought of that after that truly touching saga.

I think it was a plant tbh. Maybe. Didn’t seem like a bot to me. I could be wrong

there WAS a notable bot around here a bit ago, can’t remember the username

I think at various times there’s been both plants and bots here. The bots may also be plants themselves, who knows.

I don’t know how much of a positive effect someone toeing the company line would have, if any, but I also struggle to see why someone from the organization wouldn’t at least try it, considering the size of this sabres message board (is it the largest?) and the cost of doing so (nothing)

id imagine a cost-effective swing even if thinly veiled may be up Terry’s alley

It wouldn’t make sense not to. As much as people clowned on idemo, it did get more positive around here. People want to be optimistic. Every season we see people push themselves to shake negativity and embrace the positive. The organization should be shooting shots to improve fan base health.

Remember when Kim said “I think we know a little more than the fans.”?

I think what they may have known is that their goals for the sabres aren’t the same as those of the fanbase

I like that you mentioned Idemo... although I havent seen him.. I actually like what he brought... I think he was rose colored and not realistic... but I loved he had hope.. cause some how him having hope made me hope that I was wrong.... I loved the naive enthusiasm... unlike my jaded self all mad and crotchety...  but hey, My first hockey game was the Schoenfeld thru the boards with Cashman game... so many decades of futility for me....

The sun will come up tomorrow….

The sun is up today.   The Holidays are here and I am busy everyday and I feel healthy.  We diehards are going to need to re-focus.

This team is what they are.  We cant change it.  Only they can.

Dahlin looks to be back by the end of the week.

The team is better when he is on it. I love Tage, I will defend him against anyone who says he isn't worthy of his contract, and most of the time that he isn't a good enough first line player. But, Tage is not the best player and most important player on this team, Dahlin is.

Since he left the game, The Sabres have allowed 17 goals in about 10 periods. They have been outscored 17-9 in those 10 periods. Their collapse against Colorado coincided with about the time he left the game.

Also, 7 game losing streak.....its NOTHING!  There have been 40 losing streaks of 7 games or longer just in the past 2 1/3 seasons. San Jose lost 9 in a row earlier this year.  Nashville is currently on an 8 game skid. The Islanders made the playoffs and they had a 7 game skid last year that also started in December that had them looking up at the playoffs by the time it ended. And for good measure they threw another 6 game skid into last season in the spring before the playoffs.

Get to 10 and its an issue, but 7 games? lol, nothing but a small test of the team's character.
