LabattBlue Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 (edited) What say you? Me personally, gave them up at the start of Covid and haven’t looked back. No regrets. Edited October 17 by LabattBlue Quote
mjd1001 Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 I wish I could answer but none of the choices apply to me. I haven't gone to more than 2-3 home games in about 15 years. Now, right now there is basically Zero chance I would consider even a mini-pack. Just not worth going to any games. Quote
Idemo Buffalo Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 I only go to 11 games. I have no intention of giving them up but I probably would go to more if they start to look like a legitimate team that can get to the playoffs and win a series or two. Quote
R_Dudley Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 Had to give up my mini packs when i moved to Pittsburg 30+ years ago. I used to come home for a few games a year but also gave that up several years ago with the way they have been playing. I would come back for some games on family visits if they turned into a good less frustrating team. Quote
7+6=13 Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 I didn't vote as it doesn't apply to me. If I still lived in the Buffalo area, I would be a season ticket holder. 1 Quote
Getpucksdeep Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 Voted if no playoffs but too soon for me to say. Half season, year three. Bought after year one of Cozens Thompson etc and the promise of the new core post ahole Eichel. Thing is, going to the games is fun/quality times with family and friends, win or lose. Drive from ROC is time to catch up. Probably much less costly ways to accomplish that but I love hockey - NHL, AHL, NCAA, etc and can afford it at this moment so rolling with it. 1 Quote
JP51 Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 Terry Pegula you are an utter embarrassment on the history of all of sports there is no possible way in the history of employment anyone is worse at their given jobs as your hockey teams and the people who run it. You have redefined the word incompetence it no longer has the meaning it used to and we need to coin another word to describe your depth of abject ineptitude. You should be utterly mortified and may God have mercy on your soul. Quote
KC Scouts Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 I'll keep my season tickets..... 1) It gets me out during the winter, I spend time with family and friends that I wouldn't get to do 2) The NHL is entertaining, I love watching the other teams and great players 3) Sabres do win at home (once in awhile 🤣) 2 Quote
calti Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 soft , average ability...whats not to love? im waiting to see Lindy bench half these guys..you dont play tough you dont play. Quote
LabattBlue Posted December 7 Author Report Posted December 7 Just can’t believe 10,000+ seats continue to be sold to STH year after year. Your threshold for pain is to be commended. 1 Quote
HILLsabre Posted December 7 Report Posted December 7 I live on West Coast now. But have a lot of great memories going to a couple of games a season with my dad and brother back in late 70s. The Sabres were entertaining and relevant. Not sure if I would go if I lived closer. I have stopped buying any sabre merchandise 3 years ago in protest. Quote
mjd1001 Posted December 7 Report Posted December 7 (edited) No season tickets for me but as far as individuals go, no way I am taking a chance of showing up at a game live. I like watching at home better but would go to a game every once in a while. But I want to feel like there is an above average chance they will win if I'm going to show up in person. Losing record at home this year. Just about .500 at home last year. Losing record at home the year before. Losing record at home the year before that. Losing record at home the year before that. I have no idea how I would even consider going to a home game with that situation. 29 games BELOW .500 at home over the last 4 1/3 seasons. Even for a bad team, that is almost incomprehensible.
