I have no issues with this whatsoever

Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't like it if this was happening everyday and guys were getting banged up..but occasionally, no big deal in a bad way to me.

Only in Buffalo does this deserve its own thread.  Clearly our captain is frustrated.  I kinda like that he’s letting it out. Not sure about the execution.  Do this in games please.  (Yes I know he hits people, be dirty, irritate the opposition)

I think that is totally untrue.

I think this happens, and is caught on camera in most hockey markets it gets its own thread.

I'd have to search to find it, but I think on some of the maple leafs forums when stuff like this has happened in the past...with players that aren't even top players, it gets brought up and talked about for pages, and pages.

Right, and Hammy tweeted it's the first fight he's seen in practice in years.

Skinner's goof off hour is over.  Here for it.

I was really really worried. I wouldn’t want anyone on the team who may have a problem with a teammate.

Kevyn & Pegula will have none of this unfriendly behavior.

Good...this team needs to not take crap from anyone at anytime.  That's how you begin to build habits...not just in the games, but in practice as well.

They secretly loved it...about time they played like they actually care and build habits that will lead over to the games.

Lucas Raymond was in a minor fight in practice last season, can't remember against who.

Lovely swedes.

I like this from Dahlin, delivered a clean hippy... as captain this sends a message.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ruff "encouraged" Dahlin to light up Krebs after their altercation earlier.

Where was this when JJP got his bell rung?  Tuch makes a cautious attempt to show up and everyone else is playing like they are holding a carton of eggs.

Last season when Clifton lit up a Devil he was a marked man for a game.

I wanna see them turn this ***** outward instead of doing it with guys they are comfortable around.

I would be very surprised if a coach told a player to light up a teammate in practice after an accidental high-stick.

I am a huge Dahlin fan. He would do himself and his team a big favour if the next time he throws a hit like that in a game and then gets challenged, if he would stick up for himself like he did here.

Agreed. The game needs to be played with passion. Joy or anger. Pick one.

Well, people have been talking this year about how you have to practice like you play.

Yeah, I personally don't ilke fighting much anymore. If high scoring game occurs, I never think to myself "that game needed a fight" if the NHL totally outlawed fighting (and filled the void with SERIOUS penalties for stickwork), I'd be OK....However...

With that said, i really wish the Sabres would have found ONE heavyweight. A guy who is a top 20 fighter, but can also play and not be totally out of place. Wouldn't have to play everynight, but even for someone like me who isn't into fighting anymore...that is what I'd want from my 11th/12th/13th forward.

Signs of life?

Sure is.  But if I’m Lindy I’m not too happy with Captain Dahlin’s low hit, then he popped him when he got up, the he threw a few big haymakers.

There was tension between them from an earlier hit

I would tell Dahlin to save it for the games.    But for now, it’s a sign of life.

It’s tough to tell when I’m basically watching a small screen on another screen from my phone, but it looks to me like the waist is the primary point of contact. I wouldn’t call the hit low.

That hit didn’t need a fight necessarily, but man a bunch of bodies getting banged around in anger would have been welcomed.
