Norwin Panocha released from WHL team

I’m sure it’s happened plenty but has it happened with a recent Sabres draft pick?

He has a pretty good campaign in the Q last year.  Weird to see a kid move from the Q to the WHL.  Was this something the Sabres helped orchestrate?

So what now?  Back to Germany? Can he go to the USHL and then to college? ECHL? Find another CHL team?

I did a little digging and the kid was released by his Q team prior to the import draft this summer and was then drafted by the WHL Raiders.

The article says he skates well, has size and can play up and down the lineup.  What would sour two CHL teams on the kid?
