Heads the Sabres are sold and moved to Houston never to return. Tails the Sabres are sold to an obscure Manitoba donut king and he is the one we have been waiting for... a Cup (Stanley to be precise) in Year Three. Do you flip?

    • No. Too risky. Houston? That's a problem.

Remember when Jack Eichel commended Kevyn Adams for taking a swing at 2021? There’s your smoking gun

You have to read between the lines a bit, but it’s right there. He’s praising the GM and the most telling aspect was that he chose to do so. What does that create a contrast between?

Weird, I used the term before I read your post. Great minds

No I have no recollection of that. How is that the smoking gun?

Because things were extremely heated at the time. You must remember that. I believe it was the Friedman interview. Eichel going out of his way to give Kevyn Adams credit during an extremely contentious time with the team pointed the finger extremely clearly, imo, at the guy above Adams

You have to think about why he would single out Adams. What he’s trying to say by not saying it.

I might have checked out before then I’m not sure, there was a 2 year span where I just stopped watching hockey because I was getting too negative. This may have been that time so I’ll take a look at that, thanks for the info.
