Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 I'm still waiting, I don't care if we take a panalty; but some sort of retribution on that hit needs to happen. 75% of the league will respond to something like that (probbaly all playoff teams) Quote
JoeSchmoe Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 Sabres woke up. Let's hope they keep it up. Problem is NJ is playing very good defense. There seems to be at least 4 guys clogging up the scoring lanes at all times. 1 Quote
Mr Peabody Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 You think Dillon will have his head on a swivel for the rest of the game.? Neither do I. 1 3 Quote

LGR4GM Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 (edited) I'd run Dillon. I'd then run him again. I'm fact every time he touches the ice I ***** lay him out until he gets the message. 3 minutes ago, Brawndo said: Not upgrading any of Jokiharju, Samuelsson or Clifton was a huge failure this offseason Edited October 5 by LGR4GM 1 Quote
WhenWillItEnd66 Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 Sabres are a bit more physical in the defensive end Quote
pi2000 Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 impreseed with NJ. they're on top of every puck seems like they have 7 guys on the ice, no room out there.. players away from the puck buzzing around high pressure team finishing checks, they look gooood. Buffalo just looks out matched in every aspect. 1 1 2 Quote
ExWNYer Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 Not trailing after one...in bizarro Sabreland, that qualifies as a victory. Sad. 3 Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 That's twice we missed passes to open guys in the clear 1 Quote
steveoath Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 Levi looks alert. power and byram were very good. 2 Quote
ASlugAbove Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 What does it take for this team to hit somebody? Cuz taking out one of your top scorers apparently isn’t it. Quote

thewookie1 Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 Definitely better than last game, BS on the head hit. I give Tuch credit for immediately dropping his gloves; not a fighter in any way but did so anyway. We are certainly playing chippier since then Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 Levi looked good. 5 shots a period won’t do it. 1 1 Quote
shrader Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 My random thought of the day. Only two Sabres were alive when Czechoslovakia was a thing. 1 Quote

GoPuckYourself Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 I appear to be in the minority here but i think the Sabres are skating very well with a very fast team in the Devils, they have a bunch of young solid players. That hit on Peterka should have easily been an ejection and is the type of hit they say they're trying to take out of the game. Also many are mistaking toughness for fighting, I think we may only have 2 actual fighters (Greenway/Malenstyn) and I know we all wanted to see Tuch actually fight but he would have been another Dylan Cozens situation, Dillon is a tough fighter in the league, Tuch is not but yeah I would of at least liked to see a punch thrown before going down like a sack of potatoes. All in all I think we're playing well and Levi looks great so far, a little shaky but I like his positioning. Now I'll run away and hide in the shadows before I get pitchforks thrown at me LOL. 1 Quote

They decided that the dinosaur couldn't take them to the next level, but he (and his staff) left them with good habits and solid fundamentals. The Sabres, at the same time, were led by a wanna-be life coach and a den mom. Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 Just now, That Aud Smell said: Four periods. No sign of Lindy Magic. That’s why he was fired by the devils Quote
