Not sure why they do the non-regional blackouts in the preseason.  But pretty sure they did the same thing last season too.

You'd expect that if anything they'd let everybody watch whatever they wanted to so they could drum up regular season subscriptions.

Those of you that are blacked out can be thankful of 1 thing.  You aren't being subjected to the BJ's Pink Floydish phone on-hold music that they keep playing every time the BJ's radio broadcast goes to commercial &/or intermission.

Couldn't take any more of that so switched to some Del Amitri instead.

I think Metsa will play some NHL games. So smart and smooth. He’s a solid guy to have if multiple D injuries happen.

Seems like a few of the defensemen are pretty good. Those Russians are going to me on the Sabres at some point I'd guess

He'll get a handful of NHL games, but he's likely a future AHL team captain.

Sabres killed off the PP but before Novikov could get back into the play, puck went to STN-PCH on the back side for a tap in to the open net.  2-1 Sabres.  Just over 2 minutes left in the 2nd.

Their primary goal is to evaluate all players, so they’re not going to play their best players every game. They know he’s one of the top Amerks D.

Had forgetten that he'd played in the Amerks 1st game against Pittsburgh.  Was thinking he hadn't played any games yet.

Considering he'll probably be Clague's partner, can see why they're not bothering with playing him.  Get the other pairings set.
