Archie Lee Posted September 27 Report Posted September 27 What’s the vibe on this game for the players on both teams? For Red Bull, is this like the Soviet Wings coming to town (less the Cold War backdrop)? Or is this NHL exhibition level intensity? Or, is it NHL all-star game intensity? Is this sorted out in pre-game discussion, or do they just start playing and respond accordingly if a Red Bull runs Benson through the end boards? Quote
matter2003 Posted September 27 Report Posted September 27 I was in Essen, Dusseldorf and Koln a few weeks ago...never made it to Munich. Quote

mjd1001 Posted September 27 Report Posted September 27 I'm not a huge traveler, not one of those people who does go to Europe on a regular basis (or certainly we can't afford to go often at all), but when we did go, Germany was my favorite place. I wasn't impressed with London or Paris (was only in each of them for a couple of days, seemed kinda dirty and over-rated to me), Italy was a mess and crowded, but Germany had that feeling of "You are for sure in a different country with different customs and language-yet it kinda feels comfortable like home" I don't think we'll find out too much about the team, but its kinda fun to watch an event like this. 1 Quote

Big Guava Posted September 27 Report Posted September 27 (edited) Most important thing is nobody gets injured. Would expect the other team to come hard all game long as they are wanting to show they can play and compete against NHL players. It's their Stanley Cup Edited September 27 by Big Guava Quote
