3 in the last minute.  Sabres have lost in a lot of crazy ways but never 3 in the last minute.

I went to BU and my wife the UNH. I’m enjoying the fact that Dallas’ UNH goalie was the victim here.

Maybe but do you really think Chicago is positioned to make a move up next year? Or San Jose? I like some of the San Jose moves but they are still far away. Either of those teams could easily get a top pick yet again.

Oh of course they could but my money would be on either of the ones I named "winning" the lottery regardless

If Pitt gets to DRAFT YET ANOTHER generational superstar, I will burn that town down. Mario, Jags, Sid, and Geno are enough talent for 300 years of a hockey franchise's life ... STOP THE STEAL!

Canucks score 5 in 3rd period and win in OT!

The Canucks are the king of crazy games this year with this one being the topper. What I can't understand is all the hype about Stars winning the cup. How can they survive without Heiskanen? Lyubushkin is your top line D man. I just don't see them surviving that throughout a playoff run.

Landeskog loaned to the AHL for conditioning. This will expire after the season has ended. It by some chance he plays in the playoffs, that’s going to be the longest manipulation of LTIR we have ever seen, missing 3 years of hockey.

Seriously though, it’s a great story if he can come back. I just love the convenient timing of the possible return.

The were a rumors going around he would play in last years playoffs. Now it's a year later but he is closer. How is he going to survive NHL playoff hockey after being gone so long?

Pittsburgh winning it and getting McKenna for a perfect 3 in a row would seem suspicious to say the least but just as long as the Rags don't win another lottery I'm probably okay with it all.

They were just put in their place by the Jets last night.

UNH is a forever middling program. They rarely make the postseason and never win when they do. They had a long-timer coach in Dick Umile who kept his job despite never doing much. I hoped that would change when he retired. It didn't.

They were very good under Umile, even if they were the university of no hardware.  Hockey East had their big 4 era during that time with BU/BC/UNH/Maine.  Those days are gone now, and NIL in particular has pretty much killed that.  Maine has bounced back in the last couple years, so maybe UNH can at some point.  There's just not much draw to that program right now.

Compare his time to any other coach.  He's by far the best they ever had.

Umile was like Reggie Witherspoon at UB. Lots of winning seasons but nothing postseason. But he was certainly beloved as a coach. UNH has it's fans but it's not like there is a rabid fanbase in-state. Their football team is actually quite successful in FCS, often getting ranked and making the NCAA tournament. Basketball is like "we have a basketball team?"

Elias Pettersson done for the season. Finished the year with 15 goals, 45 points. Year one of an 8 year $92.8 million contract. Locker room cancer that cause the trade of their best player - and some wanted to trade for him. Monumental dodging of the bullet.

Stars against Avs in the first round. Talk about sending a good team home early!!!!!!  Likely LA Oilers yet again.

I see LA and the Avs winning.
