The difference now is that the ruffians are more likely to have guns on them. It's a different world now where an accidental bump can end up resulting in getting stabbed or even shot.

I have no idea how the Bruins do not have a goal in this game. I don’t think the Canucks have had possession of the park for more than 10 seconds in 2 1/2 periods

Bruins can't score. Period. That was a near flawless defensive game from them and yet they still lost. You won't win many games if you can't score.
