There are some heated rumors talking about a trade between the Calgary Flames and Philadelphia Flyers including Jacob Pellitier, Andrei Kuzmenko for Joel farabee and Morgan Frost but there could be more per Elliotte Friedman.

It went through. Philly also got a 2nd and 7th round pick. Like the deal for Calgary

Calgary’s mindset is right.  They were going for a soft rebuild and when they saw they had a team capable of getting in the playoffs, they re-inforced it.

Imagine if KA had that mindset a couple of seasons ago…….

Me to although I like the toughness of the 2 players Calgary gave up I do believe the Flames got the better overall players in return even though points wise this year they  seem fairly even.
