The other question is where was anyone else. When I was In high school I worked 3rd shift in an all night dinner. When there was trouble in the front of the house the whole kitchen staff would burst out with sharp utensils in their hands. The offenders were out the door in a hurry.

The difference now is that the ruffians are more likely to have guns on them. It's a different world now where an accidental bump can end up resulting in getting stabbed or even shot.

I have no idea how the Bruins do not have a goal in this game. I don’t think the Canucks have had possession of the park for more than 10 seconds in 2 1/2 periods

The boo birds are out again. Love to hear it.

Bruins can't score. Period. That was a near flawless defensive game from them and yet they still lost. You won't win many games if you can't score.

Vancouver beats Bruins for their 8th straight road win.  Impressive. ..and thank you.

The Sabres don’t need anyone’s help at this point. Just keep winning and that takes care of everything.

True, but if other teams want to fall on their faces and give the Sabres a bit of a cushion to keep from gripping the sticks too tight when they do have the inevitiable btb losses again preventing them from turning that 2 game skid into a 3 or more game skid, am perfectly fine with it.

I do like when Boston falls on their faces.

Of course you do. Totally understandable. I feel that way about Toronto and Montreal.

They scored 6 against the islanders though and are 3 W in 4 games under Sacco. Be afraid 🙂

Nope... no thanks. I've been sticked in the nethers twice while playing hockey. I did not suffer anything close to this and the pain was awful, protective gear be damned.

Just shuddering reading this.

When I was playing club I had three straight skates taking a pick to the nuts. Thankfully my jock did its job, but it certainly doesn’t feel good still. It blows my mind that there’s guys skating with no cups on.

Watched Rags/Flyers this morning before the Sabres game. Rags are in disarray and only Shesterkin kept them in it. I suspect they will make a move as something's not right there for sure. Call them Kev, see what's possible.

Bruins back to not being able to score so they are beatable for sure.

Always maintained around here that Eichel’s best asset was his playmaking.. it’s nice to see him really lean into it - leads league in assists this year

Yeah, even when he was here and had practically no one to pass to, the could still thread the needle backwards without looking. I might be in the minority, but I hold no ill will towards young Jack. He hurt his neck and wanted to chose the option that gave him the best chance of being 100% again. The team blocked it. Total d1ck move by the team, so he left. Turns out, based on his play since returning, he was right. Shocker. (something something something body autonomy)

He ended up getting the procedure he wanted. The outcome of the procedure worked out well. The irony is that after he had that particular procedure other players had the same procedure for similar injuries, also working out well for them. The procedure he got was considered experimental in the US while in Europe it was considered a standard procedure.

As @Thorner pointed out, he is a tremendous passer. And it should be noted that they two of the top players in the league, Eichel and Reinhart, were drafted and played for Buffalo. Both have their names on the Cup while the franchise they left have struggled. The Sabres are what they are because the organization does what it does. Systemic incompetence is ugly to witness and tough to take.

He wanted to leave before the injury.   The Krueger hiring and firing, and another rebuild, were the final straws for him.  The injury was the vehicle to make it happen.

He'd told Adams when Adams got hired that if he wanted to move in a different direction that he was open to getting traded.  Instead, they tried to give him enough support in mercenaries such as Hall and Staal to make it happen.  A better upgrade would've been looking at Hutton.  Oh well.  Rebuild 3.0 might actually be working.  They really need to make the playoffs this year so we don't end up going through Rebuild 4.0.
