It didn't seem like he played here for 8 seasons. I always liked Tyler.  Seemed like he was a good dude who always gave a big effort.

Nice hair and fantaastic smile.

Why does the photo montage in the OP not show him in his Sabre uni ??

Actually, it looks like the top photo may be a Slug sweater, but with a Wild (green) hat ?????

WTF wave time.

I think it's just the yellowish lighting effect that makes the blue Sabres uni look a little greenish.

He was a .5 PPG player at the NHL level.  Pretty solid.

I would say under appreciated later in his Sabres tenure.

Well, he was there for the start of the suffering.  His first two years with the Sabres were playoff years and then...

Yeah, Chicken Hat Guy had it right.  The biggest photo at the top was him in a Sabres Slug.

I wish him well but for some reason thought he retired awhile ago.

He last played an NHL game in the 2021-2022 season.

In other news, Tony McKegney has also retired.

And Jaromir Jagr played his last NHL game in 2017-2018 but still isn’t retired. You do know that people can play profession hockey outside of the NHL, right?

52 years old, by the way. Who does he think he is, Gordie Howe?

OMG you’re right

And do you know what’s really sad—to some franchises it wouldn’t mean anything.

Unless I am mistaken, with Ennis’ retirement, Tyler Myers is the only remaining NHLer to have scored a playoff goal for the Sabres

He's not just the only one to still be playing that has scored in the playoffs for the Sabres, he's the only NHLer to have played in the playoffs for the Sabres.

Not many NHLers w/ 14+ year careers.

Why do you know these things?  It has to suck having that knowledge. It makes the drought that much worse and now i hate both of you for educating me.

My day would have been much better if I had never been introduced to this fact.

I hope your bread is moldy today.

Don’t know which is scarier - The fact that it’s true, or the fact that I’m not even schocked.

Yup, but the green thing on his head does not look right.  The Chicken Head dude thought maybe it was the lighting that made the sweater look greenish, but I'm talking about the helmet.
