If it does end up being an extended injury, then it’ll be great for Power to get PP points and make his contract look appropriate. And Byram will get the chance to earn a higher AAV.

But he’s already played 436 games and two seasons at an extremely high level. 
He’s like your best and favorite toy you’ve had for years. Then your cousin comes over to play on the weekend and breaks it instantly. 
Like when Jamie cracked my prized Louisville Slugger on one swing.

But Detroit has a split squad approach because they’re not going overseas. Team Delvecchio is missing Compher, Kane, etc.

Well, the good news is we have Power and Byram so maybe they can hold the fort while Dahlin rehabs whatever it is.

Positive spin zone on Dahlin looking "pissed" as he watched from the tunnel: Maybe he feels/thinks he's well enough to return to training, but team doctors/trainers are keeping him out as a precaution.

I dunno, I'm really not that worried about Dahlin.  Not yet anyway.  If he has something that could turn into a nagging injury if he were to play through it, I'd rather shut him down until October.
