Metsa should have been signed to an NHL deal.

Id like to see Brannstrom brought up and played with Dahlin for a couple games. See if their old chemistry is there. They have nothing to lose at this point.

Old chemistry? Didn't they only play like 7 games together?

I think they played some in Sweden too maybe I’m wrong. What’s it hurt to see them together. Maybe they have chemistry and we found a Forsling like find. A guy that fits well in a system with a new team.

Ty Tullio has been loaned to the Calgary Wranglers. 1 goal and 6 assists in 30 games. Making room for more productive players.

With the loan, the trade is officially 1-for-1 McLeod for Savoie.

Interesting that with the release of Tullio, the injury to Neuchev, and the trade of Aube-Kubel, the Amerks are now down three potential forwards in the lineup for the playoffs. Kulich will be there though -- barring extending concussion symptoms courtesy of Howden.

Olivier Nadeau has been named ECHL player of the week again down in Jacksonville. He could get a call up.

I forget that he exists sometimes.  Looks like he has had some pretty good year over year improvement down in jville.  Hopefully his skating is improving.. that was always the big knock on him

Everyone says Brett Murray is too slow for the NHL but all he does is go to the net and scores goals for the Amerks. He's basically a human backboard. Are we sure we can't use that in Buffalo? 23 goals, 39 points in 51 games.

Bringing back for posterity.

Tough loss, 2-1. Had a goal disallowed.

Checkers played a very good defensive game. As soon as a puck got to an Amerk  someone was on them. Amerks eventually got pressure on the Checkers but much like the Sabres they just can not get a good power play going. The one goal the Checkers scored on Levi was as a result of a 2 on 1 when the player was sprung at the end of a penalty. I think the Amerks were caught unaware the power play was over. I don't think Levi was banging his stick loud enough if at all.

Rathbone punched old friend Rasmus Asplund in the face.

Amerks win today 4-3. Novikov, Brannstrom, Östlund, Wahlberg score, Helenuis with a helper

Östlund has blossomed, Rosen has been good all season, Helenuis and Wahlberg have made good strides as teenagers in the AHL. Novikov and Komarov are continuing to improve. Levi has been very solid OA. Great to see the kids are making great strides in the farm.
