Interesting that with the release of Tullio, the injury to Neuchev, and the trade of Aube-Kubel, the Amerks are now down three potential forwards in the lineup for the playoffs. Kulich will be there though -- barring extending concussion symptoms courtesy of Howden. Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted March 21 Report Posted March 21 (edited) Amerks have a 3-game weekend: vs. Charlotte tonight 7pm, @ Syracuse Saturday 7pm, vs Utica Sunday 3pm. As soon as a puck got to an Amerk someone was on them. Amerks eventually got pressure on the Checkers but much like the Sabres they just can not get a good power play going. The one goal the Checkers scored on Levi was as a result of a 2 on 1 when the player was sprung at the end of a penalty. I think the Amerks were caught unaware the power play was over. Novikov, Brannstrom, Östlund, Wahlberg score, Helenuis with a helper Östlund has blossomed, Rosen has been good all season, Helenuis and Wahlberg have made good strides as teenagers in the AHL. Novikov and Komarov are continuing to improve. Levi has been very solid OA. Great to see the kids are making great strides in the farm. 2 2 Quote
