You aren't getting Tkachuk for any combination of the pieces you list. You're parting with 1 of Quinn, Peterka, or Cozens. You're losing Samuelsson in that trade too.

Peterka, Samuelsson, Rosen, and a pick is probably in the ballpark.

Also Brady Tkachuk is a LW, not a center.

Brady Tkachuk,  37g 37a, 74pts at 24yrs old in his 6th season.

JJ Peterka, 28g 22a, 50pts at 22yrs old in his 2nd season.

Tkachuk had 21g 23a for 44pts as a 21yr old in his second season.

My point is, while I agree Tkachuk is better, is he so much better Buffalo should give up Peterka +++ for him. I'd be skeptical although, this year we'll know.

How about Byram, Benson, Östlund and next year's protected 1st.

Also KA is The same diplomat as my grandmother. So no chances

Since they got Ullmark I do not believe Ottawa is looking to trade Tkachuk at all. But, for the sake of saying it, IF we could get him AND sign him to an extension, then they can have ALL of those little prospects in Rochester. ALL of them. Rosen, Rousek, Kulich, Östlund and even the new guy Helenius. Because I just don't care about prospects any more. Especially little ones.

Not sure exactly what I'd trade for Tkachuk but I would definitely include Quinn or Benson in there if got the trade done

Not Helenius, the others we have no room for them for 1-2 years.

No, we have Grit now to be paying all this for one guy. We need Byram more and Benson's upside we don't even know yet. He showed us moves that maybe more than Tkachuk could give. Prospects and Draft picks. Not players we already have in Top 6. The only one I would do is maybe Cozens but that would be a money issue for FL.

Kulich, Ryan Johnson, Greenway, Krebs, 1 and 2nd pick next year

Tuch  Tage  Peterka

Quinn  Cozens Tkachuk

Benson  McLeod  Zucker

Malenstyn  Lafferty  Aube-Kubel

Dahlin  Power

Bo Byram  Joki

Samuelsson  Clifton

UPL  Levi

Extra's:   Rousek, Rosen, Bryson,

Yeah, no way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Sabres have Grit and 3-4 Potential 30+ Goal Scorers as is. Not giving FL 3 of them, STUPID
