There's like 6 players between #6 and #12 that  are various versions of the same thing. Lots of guys with motors and physicality that either need strength, better skating, better handles, better visions or some combination there of. The 5-15 range of this draft will be really interesting to watch.

Misa is better. Martone is inconsistent physically. 

Bear is a forechecking nightmare.

I've seen Desnoyers creeping up boards. I still prefer Bear to Desnoyers at this stage. Anton Frondell is up high on a lot of boards but I dont see it honestly. In what limited I have seen and mainly in what I have read, everyone has a variation of "good size with a great shot, gotta improve his skating" and yea his shot is good but the rest of his game is just fine, it isn't bad but there's no other standout element there. The allsvenskan is tougher than canadian jrs probably but idk, I just feel like I want more at pick 5-8 than Frondell. Hopefully McQueen comes back from his bulging disc soon and we get a look at him, he's a real wild card in this draft.

My concern with McQueen is that he has back issues at 17. That worries me a lot and I have to wonder if his bulging disc will return or not. 

Of McQueen comes back and is medically g2g, you have a top 5 instead of a top 4. McQueen becomes a wild card because he could go anywhere from 2-5 if he does really well the last 10 games and gets on a playoff run. If his team can make it a couple rounds in and he has about 20 games at the end, I think teams will move him back up boards.

I'm still a big Martone fan, I think he's the dude we need badly. I even see him being called the "long lost Tkachuk brother".

I think if people think Martone is Tkachuk they will be very disappointed

Again I disagree, maybe not Brady but ddefinitely has some Matthew in him.

He doesn't apply his physicality consistently. I want the higher revving motor of Misa. Martone would be a nice consolation prize.

I'd agree with this but we'd have to most likely at least own the 2nd overall pick in order for this to happen, possibly the 1st.

Members of the fanbase would turn on him quickly. He doesn’t run people through the boards every shift. He doesn’t punch people in the face every game. 
 

I wouldn’t be upset with the pick but people who think he is Tom Wilson 2.0 or a Tkachuk will need to temper their expectations

He's more like Alex Tuch or maybe a jordan Greenway than a Tkachuk.
