Comrie back to the Jets for IIRC the 4th time.

Don't know where he'll go after that, but he'll be back in Winnipeg again after that.  His nickname should be Boomer (as in short for Boomerang).  Either that or Keith (as in Tkachuk).

How much easier is life when you have legitimate NHL stars for well over a decade on the first line that pushes all the wannabes down to the second line?

Life is much harder trying to punch above your weight class.

OK?  And they’ve been successful ever since Drury and Briere left FFS.  Maybe the Sabres need to model the Bruins instead of attempting to point and laugh.

This is what an organization thst refuses to accept losing looks like.

Nashville was an older team last year, now they are a very old team. Lots of great players, the big question is will they be able to stay on the ice. Only one skater under age of 25 right now.

OMG—I looked at Cap-friendly, and the team is averaging 30 years of age!!!

It's yet another data point as to how clueless the organization's leadership really is.

What a silly thing to think. And then to write and post.... wow

not sure how anyone mocks the Bruins org. example of how to do things. Record speaks for itself.

Bergeron and Marchand had been linemates since 2011. If you have two of the best NHL players on your first line for a dozen years, it makes filling out the rest of your roster a hell of a lot easier. What does this team look like if you push our first line down to our second line and insert a decade long partnership of two of the best forwards in the NHL?

Boston was 2 points from winning conference even after losing the players they did. Not sure what your point is.

I have no idea what your point is. Maybe you would like to argue that it’s easier finding first line players than other guys in the lineup. I’ll hang up and listen.

What's your rebuttal?

Oh, you don't have one.

but no Crosby extension at this point. Notice that too.

He is signed for next season so what's the rush.  He will sign at the same AAV as his current contract for 5 years at some point this summer - probably when camp opens.

Will he? I'm going to suggest no, no he won't. Pens will be moving him at the deadline.

There's your ceiling on a Quinn or JJP extension currently.

Do you truly think that Quinn gets 7.5?  I'd guess 6.5, not that a million is a huge difference.  As for Peterka, if he has another meteoric season it's completely possible.

Jack Quinn is going to give us 30g and 45a this season. Peterka is going to give us 30g and 32a.

Quinn is and has been better than Peterka, even last year.

I don't think he would ever agree to be traded.  He would retire before accepting a trade.
