Bryson is a perfectly cromulent 8D, which is why you don’t tender a qualifying offer and let him test the market. If he comes back on 7/13 and says “I like Buffalo and Rochester. I’ll take that 2-way $850k.” Then you sign him up.

In the meantime, it’s Novikov time in Rochester.

He’s a 5’9” defenseman.  He was given his liabilities at birth. Give me someone without those liabilities.

He was decent last year. Advanced stats wise he was better than many of the regulars, albeit not in prime minutes.

If we can get him back on the team in the 7/8 spot at league minimum-ish, that's a win.
