RochesterExpat Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 He was projected to go higher so… sure. Looks good. He was the highest ranked under 6’ forward left so it’s very on brand. 1 1 Quote

Buffalonill Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 Another small player what is with this organization 1 2 1 Quote

LGR4GM Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 Jiri Kulich was 5'11" when drafted, he's 6'1" now. Not all players will grow but several will be 1-2 inches taller by the time they matter. 4 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 Is this guy several years away or is he sturdy enough to leapfrog some of our other older (but lighter) prospects (ex. Rosen, Östlund, etc.)? Quote

Or rather, development spacing is implied in our mandate. 1 Quote

DarthEbriate Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 For those of us scoring at home, the two picks traded to move up to get Ziemer include the 5th rounder acquired for Okposo. Okposo --> begets --> Ziemer 1 Quote

Scottysabres Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 Quick, someone tell me what medeviel instruments I should bring for this pick? Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 I like that our last 2 players selected have physical traits, much like the player we picked up in the deal with the Caps, they are emphasizing that we need to get more physical but the thing I don't like is that we waited this long to get these types of players but baby steps I guess. 1 Quote

I'm sure Lindy had some say in this. The last several Sabres coaches were all yes men. Thank God for Lindy Ruff. Not sure he'll take the Sabres to the promised land as HC, but at least he knows your team needs to get tougher in this league. 2 Quote
