Like Benson, I'd like Helenius to spend a rear in Rochester

That may get him into trouble though I don’t know Rochester’s laws on that that

There are quite a few “another Benson situation developing” rumours out there right now…anyone else get the feeling we are slowly, likes lobsters in increasingly hot water, being messaging-slow-played, almost Inception-like, to the idea Helenius just *needs* be our 3C this season?

“Who is out there that can guarantee you better results?”

Like a frog placed in a cold pot and the burner turned on.

Doesn’t help Buffalo next season though.

Someone has to move up or be traded

Clayton

That’s a beautiful area, great restaurants

How they revamped Riverside Drive was very smart.

This is the first summer in 17 years that I am not vacationing up there.

I’m going through withdrawal already

Well, Rochester for Helenius should be the course now.

True. The way they play hockey in Liiga does not take him any closer to NHL than he is at the moment imo.

Is there a clause in his contract to let him go to Rochester?

I thought he had a year left with Jukurit.

I am not sure how that goes. But usually Liiga contracts come with a paragraph that makes it possible to sign with a NHL team.

Yea, no offense to Liiga but the larger ice and different approaches to offense aren't what Helenius needs. He's gotta improve pace and get used to worker in tighter areas where opponents get to him quicker.

I tried to look this up but it was hard to find. I think theoretically Jukurit would have to loan Helenius to the AHL. NHL I would guess there's a straight up out clause.
