nfreeman Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 By "major move," I mean a top-6 forward or a top-4 defenseman, or other move that even KA's staunch critics would grudgingly admit is a major move -- even if they don't like the price, or the player, or the contract, or whatever else. EDIT: as noted downthread, buying out, trading or otherwise unloading Skinner would qualify as a major move. As always, the question is not what you want to happen, it's what you think will happen. The draft ends on Saturday night. (I guess that makes it alright.) My optimism is being sorely tested, but I voted yes. 1 Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 No. The closest might be moving Skinner for some picks, bottom six player, or some combination. 1 1 Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 (edited) I have 0 faith in this guy, I believe he’ll use all or most of the draft picks but fills a few 4th line positions so prove the doubters wrong. Edited June 28 by GoPuckYourself 2 Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 I don't think the Sabres use pick 14 at the draft tonight. Quote

Pimlach Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 Yes. Kevyn will trade #14AO for a top 6 forward, possibly packaged for a 2C. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 He will make no move during the draft to improve the NHL roster. 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 What, was re-signing Kale Clague not a major move? 2 Quote
R_Dudley Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 I voted No before the skinner waiver counts as a major move. That should be 2 minutes for missing information. 1 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 No….it will be another one of those….we had a deal but it fell apart excuses. 5 Quote

How is it a major move when the player only plays between the faceoff circles and the goal line? He’s grossly overpaid so it’s not like he is a legit 9mil guy. Quote

Dr. Who Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 Maybe it's this all over again but I think KA makes a significant move. Quote
Night Train Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 Someone traded Mitts. So It wont be a first. He'll try. Darcy would have sold the Clague deal like he was getting Bob Corkum all over again. Quote
