Adams admits that every scenario is on the table to get better in regards to if he is buying out Skinner. Said he wouldn't get more specific.

Wide open to moving pick 11 or prospects. Adams would also look to move up or back in the first round.

Rate player first and then consider outside factors such as access to player and can we bring them to NA (in answer to talking about Russian and Euro guys)

Forton says that Russian players have had development slowed down because NHL teams have less access and the players are not in peer on peer, best on best tournaments.

Also notes that 6-15 has a list of players that is interchangeable (not for them but across the league based on traits and team philosophy). Says there is a bit of a drop after 5. Forton added he could see 2-3 guys that they have in the 6-10 range slide to 11.

Adams talks about Krebs still being young and finding his way. Krebs said he thinks he can be a 200ft 2-way center in this league during exit meetings. Adams thinks its good that Krebs embraced that role and thinks he has good competitiveness and his mature mindset. Found it a telling statement and he liked Krebs commitment to things outside of just the offensive side.

It’s a good sign that he’s interested in things outside of what he’s genuinely terrible at.

The Krebs talk is excruciating.

Why would it be so catastrophic if he ended up being the 4C? If he ends up as a 3C, then I will be troubled. Right now, my attitude towards Krebs is that he shouldn't be handed any role, including the 4C role. He needs to earn it. That means bringing in players where he has to compete for his assignment.

It is somewhat irrational - but nonetheless very, very real - that I reflexively winced when I saw that video-still preview above. I just have zero confidence in those guys at the moment.

Personally I like that they were so lazy, they didn't even edit the 18mins of dead space to start the video out before posting. Gives me lots of confidence that this is a well oiled and run machine.

I wish I could both roll my eyes at your comment and the idiocy of not editing the video.

Its one of those annoyed and exasperated eye rolls both at the need to make jabs and at the team for making it far too easy.

Yes, I would agree with that. Krebs as 3C will be disastrous but I'd rather keep Krebs as 4C then re-signing Zemgus.   Ideally I'd want the 4th line to be like Philly's.

Hathaway type - Krebs - DesLauriers type.   Krebs will need to go to face off school though and keep working on his D.

Aren't you in a heat dome? Maybe the AC wasn't working well 🙂

I honestly have no interest in extending anyone on this team right now. I hope they wait until the end of the year to see if any of them are worth it.

"Well first of all we've been very fortunate to make a lot of high picks the last couple years.  It really makes you look good when you're picking that high all the time to be honest with you."

Um no Forton, you don't look good and it's not fortunate.  What a ridiculous statement.

Whoa, whoa whoa, our GM did not REALLY say that did he? That cannot be right...
