Pimlach Posted May 9 Report Posted May 9 Panthers piling it on. Boston will answer at home. A fight breaks out as I type. Quote
Pimlach Posted May 9 Report Posted May 9 Mikola molested Pasternak before the goal and the second scrum. . Quote

Bergeron is missed. Marchand is not the same without him either. He is also long in the tooth. Pasta fighting now. He was definitely targeted. 1 Quote

Billznut Posted May 9 Report Posted May 9 Watching a game like this just reminds us all just how far away the Sabres are from ever being a dominant, successful playoff team. They may make the playoffs next year or year after, but to actually be tough and succeed in the playoffs I just don’t see it with the makeup of most of the roster. 2 Quote
cgang Posted May 9 Report Posted May 9 Massholes = no bueno. I remember going to panthers games in the mid 2000s and thinking thank god I’m a Sabres fan with a great team. Now I’m like… Quote

Our players don't know how they'll respond to the playoff crucible. They need to get there and experience it to understand. Look at the Panthers - no way they endure a game like this without the playoff experience they already have. 1 Quote

They won’t be young forever and they can and must add toughness. But yes, just making the playoffs isn’t going to get you a Cup. It gets you invited to another level. Quote

French Collection Posted May 9 Report Posted May 9 Montour celebrating in Marchand’s face and the ensuing scuffle was fun to watch. I hate Montour’s smug little smile but it’s OK if it gets under Marchand’s skin. Quote

Thorner Posted May 9 Report Posted May 9 Not watching, are both those goals special teams markers for team McPowerplay or just one? Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted May 9 Report Posted May 9 (edited) Just getting out of the Panthers game. It was GREAT razzing the Boston fans after a good a$$ kicking. Crowd was raucous. The FU Boston chant was priceless. Good for hockey. Edited May 9 by Gatorman0519 1 Quote
Second Line Center Posted May 9 Report Posted May 9 That extra punch is a complete loser move. Can’t wait to see how eager he is to drop them with Rempe. 1 2 Quote
