Porous Five Hole Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 Amerks Game Preview Will be in Section 222 With the Lightning winning yesterday, that helps keep the call ups on the Tampa roster and not the Cuse roster for another day. It’ll be very important to hold serve on home ice today. Quote
inkman Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 Rosen really needs to shoot the puck. Point blank chance and he passes to Kulich. It’s the playoffs son, put the puck on net. Quote
inkman Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 (edited) Weissbach makes it 2-0. Pretty feed from Rousek. Edited April 28 by inkman 2 Quote
thewookie1 Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 2-1 after a point shot found a wat through Syracuse gets to beat up and tackle our guys when they get down and the refs just look away. Quote
K-9 Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 Crunch never should have had the opportunity for the offensive zone faceoff that they scored on late in the period. Refs letting them get away with all sorts of crap. Playoff hockey my a.s.s. The achilles heal of the Amerks all season has been their D zone play, especially by their defensemen, who too often have trouble making the simple outlet. Quote
inkman Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 Tyson Kozak is in for Neuchev this game. Kozak was a healthy scratch for game one. Lots of fans somehow thought Tyson would be a future Sabre. He’s a tough kid but he’s a long way from ever being considered an NHL prospect. Quote
caseydean Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 slipping away. only 1 shot on goal in 3rd. 3-2 crunch. Quote
K-9 Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 Seems every time I look up, the Crunch have another quality chance. Quote
K-9 Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 I don’t know how much more of Davies I can stand watching. He needs to score the game winner to get out of my doghouse. Quote
shrader Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 (edited) So Syracuse’s Sean Day, is that the same one that never panned out after getting exceptional player status in the OHL. Edited April 28 by shrader Quote
Porous Five Hole Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 The Amerks could not win a defensive zone face off all day and it was enough to give Cuse low percentage point shot goals/the win. My kid had fun either way. 3 2 Quote

My kid had fun either way. Just to be clear, I gave ya the awesome emoji for the fact you and your kid had a good time, regardless of the outcome. Creating great memories is always a winner. And yeah, the inability to win key D zone faceoffs has been an issue all year. Because the Amerks’ D men just aren’t very good in their own zone and winning those faceoffs is crucial for them to have any chance to succeed more often than not. 1 Quote
