Complete teardown to the studs, new electricity, new plumbing. Endless tanks, cats and dogs living together.... ugh. Blame the owner for giving the fans what they wanted. 1 Quote

tom webster Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 At two o’clock a friend text me that Sabres canceled a couple of scheduled events for tomorrow and was wondering if something was up. I guess I should have assumed this was happening. Quote

Now that Ruff is hired you're denying fans wanted him? Nice. My question now is what happens to Seth Appert. Will her be brought up to assist Lindy, or do we lose him to another team? Quote

RochesterExpat Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 I’m strangely indifferent about this hire. He wasn’t in my top 3, but he wasn’t at the bottom of my list either. Jeff Skinner is really about to hate hockey though. 4 4 Quote

eman Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 5 minutes ago, PromoTheRobot said: This isn't true. The Sabres roster made it a very attractive job. Of course we'll never know how attractive now, will we. To whom? If this truly was the case, Berube and Gallant's agents would have contacted the club regarding the coaching vacancy. Apparently that hasn't happened. I can't see Lindy getting the job over either of those 2 if they made themselves available to the Sabres organization. I'm good with the Lindy hiring but I do feel we, as Sabres fans, over value the players in the organization. Let's see what Lindy can do with them or we see who stays and who gets shipped out for next season. I'm not completely 100% sold on the players in the organization. Some will bloom, others will fail. 1 Quote

Doohicksie Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 Once the shock of the incompetence of this hiring wears off, I'll be Lindy's biggest fan. I just can't believe Adams didn't even kick some (other) tires before pulling the trigger. 3 2 Quote

Popular Post Scottysabres Posted April 22 Popular Post Report Posted April 22 Hate it, have disdain for it, feel it's not good enough........I don't care. At 53, heading for 54 yrs old, I'm all in on a man I both watched as a player (skated with at sabresland in wheatfield as a 10 to 12 yr old kid as my mom dated an....acquaintance of the players. I actually skated at 5 yrs old with the connection, and yes, it was awesome), as well as cheered with glee as our teams coach. Lindy was, is and will be the coach for what needs done here in accountability. I have 0 doubts we are playoff bound next year. My only hesitation left is my confidence in Adams. You made the right coaching selection Kyven, you brought in an individual strong on accountability. Now, do you have it within you to finish the job? To bring in the roster components needed to put us as a cup contention team? The task is not complete Kyven, the ball is still in your court...... GET........IT........DONE!!!!! I feel, I feel a youthful energy in me today after hearing Lindy is back. Get it done boys, get it done!!!! 9 1 3 Quote
