Gatorman0519 Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 I never thought even for a second he was a legitimate possibility. 1 1 Quote
dudacek Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 (edited) That's quite the clickbait thread title and not in the way I think @inkman intended Edited April 16 by dudacek Quote
msw2112 Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Adams should inquire, particularly given their relationship, but it's pretty obvious to everyone that the likelihood of Brind'Amour coming to coach the Sabres next season is slim-to-none. Carolina is not going to let him leave the facility. 1 Quote

shrader Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Carolina plays this game of chicken with people every year. At some point they’re going to crash. I doubt that time is now, but it’s coming. Quote

Carmel Corn Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Feels like another Babcock scenario. Rod uses a Sabres offer for leverage with the Canes....and a bigger paycheck. Quote
PerreaultForever Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Anything's possible. Carolina could sign him and then we might even trade for him. Stranger things have happened. But it is of course unlikely. Quote

Brawndo Posted April 17 Report Posted April 17 Hey Rod it’s Kevyn, I just let Donny go, know of anyone who might be interested or be a good candidate for the job? That’s how you get around tampering 1 Quote
thewookie1 Posted April 17 Report Posted April 17 After Carolina is eliminated I’d imagine Buffalo could request permission to speak with Rod. Until he signs his extension with Carolina there is always a slim chance. Not to mention Rod would be stupid not to wait until after Buffalo can talk to him since he can ask for more money. 1 Quote
Doohicksie Posted April 17 Report Posted April 17 Ullmark was all but signed by the Sabres too. ***** happens. Quote

inkman Posted May 1 Author Report Posted May 1 I swear to god if this dude hits the open market and we saddled ourselves with coach of Christmas past, I’m going to have to leave the internet. This place, Twitter and any other god forsaken place will be unbearable. 2 2 Quote

IF he became available and actually wanted to come here then you just bump Lindy upstairs where he will be in a couple years anyways. Quote
