Which means they are a lot better once you hit the first intermission, meaning the coaches are great at making adjustments. It can be argued either way. To me wins and losses, goals scored vs allowed across the entire game matter, when goals are scored vs allowed mean virtually nothing compared to the totals across the entire game. 3 1 3 Quote
thewookie1 Posted April 7, 2024 Report Posted April 7, 2024 I think we've learned that Jokiharju has an issue with big pressure games; every time we've got to this point, he turns into mush. Quote
Pimlach Posted April 7, 2024 Report Posted April 7, 2024 Joker with a dumb penalty after another bad shift. I don’t like the Joker - Byram pair at all. The game comes down to a PK 1 Quote

Just wait until the KA press conference where he talks about making a push despite injuries and running it back again next year. Edited April 7, 2024 by Bangarang 1 1 1 Quote

It is an 82 game season, they’ll miss because of tendencies. It isn’t a league where a bad bounce here or there is an excuse. The sample size is too large. Every time there is an opportunity to get some positive traction they lose/fall on their face. Happened last year. Happening this year. 2 1 Quote

Believer Posted April 7, 2024 Report Posted April 7, 2024 Just tuned in time to see Kane split two defenders who looked caught by surprise… Now 3-0… And Comrie is the back up… Geez. Quote

K-9 Posted April 7, 2024 Report Posted April 7, 2024 Good Oopie means we have a chance. A slim chance, but a chance. Bad Oopie means no chance at all. Needless to say, we got bad Oopie today. Quote
Crusader1969 Posted April 7, 2024 Report Posted April 7, 2024 Good news. Donny still has an ace up his sleeve. You can't always go to Levi.... wait , what? They sent him back to the Amerks while the Sabres were still alive ??! lol Quote
RETURNTOGLORY Posted April 7, 2024 Report Posted April 7, 2024 I've counted FIVE giveaways thus far. 1 Quote

Claude Balls Posted April 7, 2024 Report Posted April 7, 2024 UPL with a sweltering 500 save %. Shouldn't cost too much to re-sign him. 1 Quote
HumanSlinky39 Posted April 7, 2024 Report Posted April 7, 2024 Another no-show by the Sabres. Shocking. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted April 7, 2024 Report Posted April 7, 2024 Thanks, Sabres! I was worried that the game would be distracting and I would procrastinate doing my yardwork and some work work to be ready for Monday. Nope. No worries there. Quote

Glad they’ll bring Granato back next year as things will change dont call a timeout asshat The Flyers game sealed this loss. This team always seems to need to get embarrassed to adjust. Buffalo got away with one against Philly. Way outshot and way too many high danger chances. No business burying 4 on 20 shots or whatever it was. Anytime that happens it’s like this team thinks that level of play was good enough and then they get punched in the face. Edited April 7, 2024 by Mango 2 Quote

This only applies if the team scores enough in the last two periods to make up for the no-show in the first. And Granato's Sabres don't do that. They lose too many games in the first period. Hopefully we're watching Granato's swan song in Buffalo. 1 2 Quote

I don’t understand why we acquired Byram for Mitts. If we extend Byram then Joker is expendable. Clifton has become the most reliable player we have. Sabres embarrassed after 9 minutes. Byram got his ass kicked 4 Quote
