First impressions are not everything to me.

Clifton was ok in the beginning of the season too, it was just some unfortunate bad luck with puck bounces.  He was the only defenseman clearing the slot out. 

If first impressions are everything then Byram would get the Norris.  As it stands, he wont get a vote.

Honestly... I say give him all the minutes he can handle.  We need to have him as a 3C or know that he's not capable.  Either way, giving him minutes is the only way to know.
