If they go into next season with Ellis coaching the PP they don’t want to win. How else do you explain the lack of a plan to improve the PP ? Get someone in there that was on a friggin power play in their carreer. Matt friggin Ellis…

Seems like this outfit values a pleasant workplace over on-ice success. Meatballs and his crew will be back next year because everyone really, really likes them.

The most likely scenario is Granato back with new Assistants including one who would be the HC in waiting, Seth Appert would be my guess for that

Ellis STILL the PP coach at this point is absolutely laughable.

I know it's controversial, especially here, but I genuinely am intrigued by the concept of Lindy coming back with an assistant he can mentor as the successor on the bench.

We all would like old Lindy to kick these soft butts. But  he also has proven he can mentor kids (Hughes credits Lindy as his Sensei)
