Mission accomplished.  Pray for everyone else in my life.

I have plenty of edibles.  I was under the impression that’s going to trip up the weed test as well.

Ya, I guess if you are being drug tested that would sink you. I'd be tempted to find another job 🙂

I'm thinking they should fire DG tomorrow

shock the players.  No longer is failure acceptable.
Plus put DG out of his misery.  I think he is a really good guy and you are doing right by him by firing him now.
he should find work again as an Assitant coach down the road

It is in Canada. Not where he is though I guess.

I think there's a lot more drug testing at work in the U.S. than in Canada in general. We don't do a lot of it at all.

Oh right. I keep forgetting we often have more freedoms in socialist Canada than do our neighbors in the Land of Free.

That what I’m trying to do.  I got my current job while testing high as a kite. My old company wants me back.  I’m not certain they care about weed but I can’t blow an opportunity to make an extra $30k because I like to get loose at night.

The guy hiring me I’ve known for 30 years.  I knew him before my last gig and while he didn’t directly hire me, he had a hand in me getting the job 25 years ago. So I could have a conversation with him trying to get a feel about the screening but I’d like to avoid that whole conversation.  It could be embarrassing for both of us.  Maybe I should have a talk with him. A couple of my closest friends have told me to be honest with him about it.  It should be an easy conversation but I’m not certain that it won’t blow my chances.

I think I can delay the hiring process long enough to get the THC out of my system but I quit a couple years ago to get clean for my current job and 5 weeks later I was still positive. I got lucky as they still hired me but I can’t be certain my old company will feel the same way.

Isn't weed legal?

The job is in a factory with lots of dangerous equipment.  I’m not worried as I’ll be a manger and never really have to stick my face in those machines but I think they screen everyone for liability sake.

Thompson is a bust. He turns over the puck nearly as much as Power. Both need to be traded if we're going to be anywhere close to a serious team.

It doesn’t matter if weed is legal. A private business still say they won’t hire you if you pop positive for weed. I work for a place that makes you sign an agreement that you will never use tobacco products  because it lowers their insurance rates. That is on an honor system but I’ve know people who were caught using tobacco.

To me the worst part of this ***** show is the divide that is occurring between the team and the fanbase.  I don't ever recollect it seemingly being this toxic.

The divide is expanding at warp speed....no celestial being will be able to put it back together.  Pegula is Thanos

I picked a bad night to quit smoking weed.  Good news is I’m about to get a 40% raise (my old company wants me back, but I think I have to pass a drug screening to get rehired)   Bad news is I can’t get to sleep without weed so booze it is.

Do companies still test?! That's weird.

Could you imagine if Mike Robitaille was still doing the post-game show what he would be saying right now? Instead we have Pegula State Media trying to sugarcoat this atrocity.

Don't tell me there was... Cackling.

Just an awesome result. Anything that provides clarity is a good thing.

Don was outed again. Come on Terry, you're into that sort of thing. Fire him.

We seem to struggle to win any in a row and don’t lose in regulation a bunch in a row either. A .500 team isn’t the worst thing, the seeming security in that is progress somewhat: but only progress relative to the worst we’ve seen the last decade or so. Not so much after a 91 points last year.

Hasn’t been enough holds on career year outputs from last season nor replacement of that output through internal dev.

It’ll be interesting to see how they look to transition from .500 club to playoff club

So we are at 73 points after 73 games? Sometimes those “where you are at thanksgiving” stats provide a pretty good statistical sample

Granato will see the end of the season. Next season is an interesting off season conversation as we all hope the coming new season will return our Sabres to the post season, which of course would entitle Granato, if he is still the coach, a weekend at the Four Seasons.

I truly do not think Pegula will pay Granato to not work for the team, and he hasn't even started that 2 year extension yet.

If he isn't gone 24 hours after season ends in a few days, we'll all know where we stand: waiting for Pegula to sell before things will get better.

After those quick 3 goals in 1st period tonight, no pulling of UPL, no TO.  No yelling at team from behind bench.

I wanted Granato fired in that moment. He's out to lunch and whatever he is trying to do has failed.

Tonight is really the first time where I am really thinking this team will not be here in 5 seasons. This fanbase and franchise are dead and unless things change drastically headed towards the same fate as the Whalers.

If the franchise is going to be like THIS, let them go.  Let my Sabres life and memories die in peace.

This is just horrible.
