Did you say, “yes sir?” or was that “ya, sure.”?

(We will ruin this thread lol)

Nah, but quick question...

Hey what's that place you like with all the goofy ***** on the wall and the mozzarella sticks?

Do the Sabres endorse this kind of thing? I raised my eyebrow at Dahlin's dad being involved. Hopefully there was some communication with the Sabres braintrust. Costanza working on Tartabull's swing comes to mind.

Sure, they are basically conducting a skills camp, nothing more.  Dahlin's father is a hockey coach in Sweden.   He can run a skills practice and so can JJP's ex-coach.    They are probably just as qualified to run a skills practice as a guy like Matty Ellis.

The Costanza reference was good though.

Tricky. It all depends on Dahlin's relationship to Ruff. If there is ANY element of Dahlin is in charge and not Ruff then it is an example of the inmates running the asylum in Buffalo.

This may not be the case though. It might just be a bunch of guys working out together and likely hanging out after.

I still think the captain should be Tuch though.

idk if they plan on some before the season announcement or something but imo it's time to name the captain now and let him start assuming that role sooner than later. I know the Bruins always start their Captain's practices in early September and that's a team building model Sabres should adopt.

Maybe the Tuch Dahlin skate is a precursor but I think it's time to make things official. Serious hockey this year. No more country club.

If they want to make a real statement, they should simply have Dahlin (or whoever) lead the team out onto the ice game 1 with the C on his shoulder. Right down to business: “watch the results.”

What we will get, is a cozy, puff piece Sabres embedded special, we can certainly be sure of that. A vibes-based video on the eve of the season showcasing the big happy family

Probably. I am hoping for a more down to real business attitude this year but I am prepared to be disappointed.
