HOUSE Posted March 6, 2024 Report Posted March 6, 2024 The visiting Buffalo Sabres go for their third win in three tries over the Toronto Maple Leafs this season when the Atlantic Division teams meet Wednesday night. The Sabres defeated the Maple Leafs at Buffalo 9-3 on Dec. 21 and posted a 6-4 victory at Toronto on Nov. 4. The Sabres are coming off a 5-2 home loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday. The Sabres have won five of their past seven games, including a 7-2 home romp Saturday over the Vegas Golden Knights. The 23-man roster limit remains in effect until the deadline. Sure, we might sit, say, Okie and Girgs if they're on the way out, but the team can't add players to the roster in excess of 23 players until the deadline. Quote

CallawaySabres Posted March 6, 2024 Report Posted March 6, 2024 (edited) This will be the absolute last post I have with regards to playoff chances. Just sayin though....win tonight and tomorrow, 6 points from 8th with Philly twice in the same week not too far down the road. Winning tonight and tomorrow night would be something this team NEVER does but at LEAST I have a sliver of interest in the month of March. I don't feel great about the performance tonight and think they get slapped around to the tune of 6-2 with an empty netter. Edited March 6, 2024 by CallawaySabres Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted March 6, 2024 Report Posted March 6, 2024 Toronto will be very motivated this game after what happened in December. Quote

WhenWillItEnd66 Posted March 6, 2024 Report Posted March 6, 2024 I think we get our ass kicked tonight and we can officially move on from this playoff pipe dream we have this year. 13 years and counting in a league where 1/2 the teams go to the playoffs is straight disgusting. I am disgusted as a fan that ownership lets this happen. But, unfortunately i will be sitting my old ass in front of the TV tonight watching the Titanic sink for the 13th time....LOL 2 1 1 Quote
