Two years in a row this team has pissed away half a season and then decides to play down the stretch with impossible odds.

Ive said it before but the pieces are here. Last year goaltending and D coverage hurt them this season the offence and PP have let them down.

UPL continues to impress another game with 2 or less goals. Play him tomorrow against Winnipeg.

That must be a Sabres record for shorties in a game by a player?

6 Sabres have done it....Cozens is the 7th

1 Don Luce 12/22/1974 at WSH

2 Bob Sweeney 04/01/1995 at NYI

3 Michael Peca 12/31/1997 vs. OTT

4 Alexei Zhitnik 03/19/1998 vs. FLA

5 Evander Kane 10/07/2017 at NYI

Defense has made an absolutely remarkable improvement since the start of the year.

Neve though this team would become one of the best defensive teams in the NHL.

Last year they were one of the best offenses, now turning into one of the best defenses and the offense is starting to slowly get better and better.

Goaltending has been great lately. PP is much improved lately as well going 8 for their last 21 or 22 I believe...

They could have something here. Imagine once Quinn comes back to add to it.

This is why I think major trades restructuring the team would be a tragic mistake. Healthy Quinn and Samuelson next year - we need another D, VO and KO will be gone, bring up Kulich next year, Levi to back up and we're pretty good to go.

Impressive company… Cozens is core.

ESPNs discussion about Rempe is mad cringe.  Super dinosaur *****.  Holy *****.

It signals to me that the league wants to go back. It would fit perfectly with a country also knuckle dragging itself back 75 years.

Marvin probably knows the call... Floyd Smith is going to keep him out there all night.

Goaltending let them down the first half as well: the three-headed monster comingled with the Levi experiment. Adams was too slow to make up his mind.
