And if that's the market.. people here better get ready for the 2026 7th round picks to start rolling in for the Sabres.

Will Tarasenko slot into Reinhart's spot on the right side with Barkov or will they keep that top line together?

Hmm.

Reinhart has over 40 goals this season; Tarasenko gets to be a 2nd/3rd liner.

And in hindsight, maybe $5M is a bit much, but Tarasenko would've been a good 1-year fill-in for Quinn. Then, when Quinn returns if you're in it -- you've got a legit top-6 RW problem. And if you're not in, you do what Ottawa is and ship him out for futures.

Well... he had a full NTC.. so perhaps they didn't want a Taylor Hall repeat... and it's Tarasenko.

I was banging this drum when Tarasenko was still available. 

Adams could have done something cheaper with Nyquist or Tatar, for example. 

Instead, we ran it back with Jost and traded for Robinson.
